Showcase your creations at First Thursday!

The Creators’ Market at First Thursday on Main is a curated marketplace for local creators, makers, and small businesses sharing original work at our monthly event.

Sign ups open on the Friday following each First Thursday, for the following month. Sign ups close 3 weeks prior to the event, or when all slots are full! To secure a slot, review the Guidelines below, then complete the Creators’ Market Monthly Sign Up Form by clicking on the “Reserve Your Slot” button.

Guidelines:

What can I sell?
Handmade, original, self-produced, or artistically upcycled goods. This includes items like candles, incense, teas, self-published books, artwork, handmade jewelry, fiber art, and transformed vintage.

What is not allowed?
Wholesale or mass-produced goods, AI-generated or AI-printed work, 3D printed items, whole sale products, or resale items that have not been creatively transformed.

Does vintage count?
Yes, if it has been artistically altered, repaired, redesigned, or transformed into new creative work. Unaltered resale vintage is not permitted.FAQs:

What counts as upcycled or transformed?
Items that have been creatively changed through dyeing, painting, patching, reconstruction, or material repurposing into new art or functional goods.

Do I need to complete the form every month?
Yes! This is a new application process where First Thursday on Main will share the sign up form each month. However, after you complete the form once there will be questions you can bypass the next time you sign up!

How will I know where to set up?
First Thursday on Main volunteer board members will share an updated map with creator locations prior to the event.

What should I bring with me?
Your own table, chair, battery operated lights, displays and creations. No tents allowed.

What if I’m not sure my work qualifies?
Apply and include photos plus a short description of your process. We review vendors based on creativity, intention, and alignment with the Creators’ Market mission.
