Tapp’s Arts Center –Stop by the opening of BeAsPacificAsPossible::26, an immersive audio/visual installation on display. Custom software polls meteorological and atmospheric data provided in real-time by 26 National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) buoys across the Pacific Ocean. This data is sonified using sinusoidal oscillators and transmitted via 17-channel audio throughout a large geodesic dome situated in the center of Tapp’s. https://www.facebook.com/events/1839827756289919/
