First Thursday on Main Salutes Fort Jackson and their 100th Year Anniversary! The celebration will include special performances by the 282nd Army Rock Band on Boyd Plaza, the 282nd Army Band’s Brass Quintet strolling along Main Street, Fort Jackson historical displays, period costume soldiers, and more!

Gallery at City Hall – Featuring a special exhibition of the history of Camp Jackson, a major Army base of 2,000 structures where 200,000 soldiers were trained.  Using ten major panels outlining the history of the base and the men who trained there, the SC Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum is pleased to make this new exhibition available at Columbia City Hall.
