Renaissance Foundation – Bethel AME Church (1528 Sumter Street) – The Renaissance Foundation is hosting an open house at the Historic Bethel Sanctuary. Take a tour of the sanctuary prior to its restoration and enjoy food provided by Grilled Teriyaki and desserts from Sweet Temptations. Their guest artist is the Ethnomusicologists Ltd. Co., a group of artists/educators with hearts deeply rooted in the African Diaspora. High energy and good vibrations are elements of Capoeira, Blues, Afrobeat, Jazz, and Reggae and can all be heard in their unique music. The first tour will begin at 6:00pm and the second tour at 7:00pm.
