Richland Library – (1431 Assembly) – Enjoy the Gallery Opening Reception: Facing Race Together, which explores the meaning of inclusion and racial equity in our community through the eyes of local artists who have their own stories to tell. Watch as exhibiting artists Keith Tolen and Lori Isom Starnes paint live in The Gallery and enjoy snacks from A Peace of Soul Vegan Kitchen.  6:30 – 8:30 pm

Holiday Inn Columbia – Downtown (1233 Washington) – Stop by on First Thursday and enjoy light (circa 1950’s themed) hors d’oeuvres, complimentary wine, featured cocktail specials, hotel site tours, and live jazz music by Shannon Pinkney! 5 – 7 pm.

Miss Cocky –  Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and enjoy green drinks, green treats, and a disco ball with green lights!   Enjoy a secret sale and play Poker with Miss Cocky (You can draw from a deck of cards and it will reveal your discount off one item!

Columbia Museum of Art – Come enjoy an evening full of art! Take a guided tour of It’s Alive! Classic Horror and Sci-Fi Art from the Kirk Hammett Collection at 7:00, and then head into the studios to create your own fanzine inspired by works in the show. Free admission all day courtesy of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina. 5 – 8 pm.

Random Records – Pop-up sidewalk record stand with vintage vinyl for sale!

Columbia Art Center – Join us for the next installment of Worlds of Creativity as we journey through Palestine. Enjoy Dabka performances, music, art and even have taste of Palestine. 6 – 8 pm.

Hotel Trundle –  Special guests, Girl Scouts of South Carolina – Mountains to Midlands, are coming to host a cookie booth and share what Girls Scouts is really all about at the core! Look out for their Hotel Trundle Instagram takeover.  They’ll also be featuring live jazz music from Mark Rapp Group as well as a cash bar of wine and locally brewed beer in our lobby.

Mast General Store –  Featuring live music with Mike and Matt.  They are a father/son duo that have been playing music together since 1972.  Various music projects by the two range in genre from Keith Richards inspired rock and roll to Vaudeville’s greatest hits.  6 – 7:30.

Main Course – Dueling Pianos is back at 1626 on Main for First Thursday! The Rock and Roll Piano Show is a mobile, high-energy, singalong show, with lots of audience interaction. This event is free to the public! Featuring artist Greg Cloninger. 8 -11 pm.

The GrandJoin The Grand for Puppy Paws & White Claws. Get that pup and come on down for some Truly Lemonade, Bud Light Seltzer, and White Claws of your choice for $20. They will also have music by Brent Lundy.  Grab an incredible meal, and enjoy some great songs.  📸: @babsthegolden
