Kick off the Fall Season at FTOM in September

 

Capture First Thursday on Main Competition! 

Take part in our 2nd  photography competition! Get your photos on display and maybe even win cool Main Street prizes from Hotel Trundle, the Space Hall Darkroom at Tapp’s, and more.  To enter simply take photos at First Thursday in September! Send your submissions to firstthursdayphotocomp@gmail.com.  Twenty photos will be selected and displayed at the Capture FTOM pop-up exhibition at the October First Thursday on Main event. Photos must be taken at the September 2018 First Thursday on Main. Images from previous events will not be considered valid entries. Columbia Museum of Art – The collection is back! Check out CMA’s new themes like Vice and Virtue or Art and Identity and see works from East to West and from ancient to modern in a tour at 6:00. Have a laugh with The Mothers sketch comedy troupe from Trustus Theatre at 6:30. At 7:00 enjoy a 15-minute playlet with the final installment of the Ugly Art series. At 7:30 join CMA for a look at Something’s Happening: The Big Art of Katie Pell with a brief tour. Galleries are free with membership or admission.
